The Blazers were led by LaMarcus Aldridge, who scrapped his way to 27 points. Aldridge, who has been called "soft" in the past, showed no signs of resembling anything like that on this night. He's quietly been a rock for this team lately, and shot 9 for 20, with everything contested. Much of the night he was banging down low with Erick Dampier, or Brendan Haywood. Aldridge initiated contact, delivered some blows, and had a very strong game.

Aldridge is in All-Star form, at a great time of the season.

The ONLY positive last night was the fire LaMarcus showed..we'll need a pissed off Aldridge to get out of the 1st round...Brandon on the other hand I am starting to worry about. He needs to break out of his funk big time for us to have any chance.

My thoughts on the  Dallas game, and it's taken me 3 days to cool off....

in Europe fans throw their spare change at bad calls. I will be rolling my change until the nba allows the same.  Makes you wonder if it all isnt fixed, and were heading for a Kobe/Lebron championship series so the nba can make the most $.

I want Dallas in the first round, and if we don't get them, I hope they choke again, whoever they get  !!

    Go Blazers !!!!

Looks like LaMarcus continued to play pissed off, really going toe to toe with Gasol and Odom and getting 24 and 11..the kind of numbers we need out of him! As mad as I was after the Dallas game, beating the Lakers, let alone in their gym, makes everything all right!

I hope the entire team stays mad at Dallas. Fingers crossed that we get them in the first round.
I personally think that Camby has been good for Lamarcus' game. Similar build, and a lot to teach.

I just hope we get to the second round to either Utah or Phoenix...hopefully Phoenix..then onto the Lakers. Then we beat them and face Atlanta in the finals.

Lol, no. Dwight Howard would be the absolute worst thing to ever happen to Portland, and no doubt my fellow message boarders will let you know why.

This past season the biggest problem was that we had 5 players that did the majority of the scoring for this team and the bench didn''t produce or defend at all.   This coming season the Blazers are going to need production from both the first...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.

Aldridge is not a diva. Dwight Howard is a diva. Allen Iverson was a diva. Kobe Bryant can be a diva at times.... LA is not a Center but he can play there at times if the situation demands it. If we have someone who can protect him inside then he ...
