    @ sams1297,

There is no reason to continue to speak of the "rumors" of the dismissal of K.P.

The G.M. position works in an extremely "high risk" field, ... with the flood of young talent coming into the NBA each Summer & Fall.  Injuries are something that no human can predict.

In conclusion, ... I believe that K.P. has done all that he possibly can do, ... to shore up the Blazers in the "paint" with the addition of Marcus Camby, ... and freeing up "floor minutes" for the Guards & Wings, by sending Outlaw & Blake to the Clippers.

By the way, ... the Clippers "bench" played an awesome game the other night against the visiting Bucks.  The box score "stats" does not  show the poise, ability, and calm, that Blake & Outlaw displayed in their 26 minutes a piece.  Blake & Outlaw are a valuable addition to a young Clippers team.

In the fourth quarter of the Bucks-Clips game, (during Baron Davis' limited minutes), Davis looked tired, winded, and looking like he did not want to be on the floor, and he did not look like a "team leader" in the final quarter; fans viewing the game were left wondering if Davis is out of shape, ... or what the story is.

Outlaw & Blake looked sharp in the second half against a decent Bucks team.  Hopefully the two of them will get some quality playing time for the remaining games, ... with a club that needs a couple of mature players to "step up."  The Clippers management has to like what they see from the "hustle" and "smarts" of Blake & Outlaw.

The people who have started the rumors of K.P. being replaced, should be ashamed of themselves.  The injuries to Outlaw, Przybilla, & Oden, were not K.P.'s fault, ... but these injuries forced the Blazer's management to take action (trade with the Clippers) for the benefit of a Playoff Run in April & May.

If BRoy can recover from his injury, and return to 100 % of his ability, ... the Blazers may be able to pull off an upset in the Playoffs, and surprise some people.  Please do the Blazers & their fans a favor, ... and understand the incredible risks that an NBA G.M. must take during the off-season, and the regular season.  Thank you for supporting the Blazers players, coaches, & management.

    @ sams1297,

Here is the box score from the St. Patty's Day game between the Bucks & Clippers.

These stats only partially show the great contributions that Blake & Outlaw made in the second half, with their passing, steals, blocked shots, ball-handling, points, and overall "hustle" & "desire."

The Clippers looked like a much "sharper" team, with Blake & Outlaw on the floor.

When will Blazer fans learn?? The sky is not falling. Canzano, and the older version Jaynes are getting ratings.
Believe what you want, but KP needs a new agent.  KP not being in his seat last night is normal. Who do you  think has scouted our great draft picks for the last 3 yeears ?  KP is handling his business at tournament time.

Good point, Kim. I sure hope you are right. This Blazers team has enough talent to challenge for a championship without making anymore moves as long as everyone continues to stay healthy. Definitely let's keep KP for as long as possible, but if we lose him it wouldn't be apocalyptic!
I am a fan of not hearing Mike Barrett complain about the Blazers in some way every 5 minutes! Give me Wheels all day every day! Boom shaka laka!

First of all...KP is not going anywhere unless it's his decision.....Canzano and the other radio analysts that don't have an athletic bone in their bodies like to stir things up so don't believe anything they say.

Blazers will be fine, stay calm Rip City !

    Go Blazers !!

After being a fan of the Blazers my entire life, living through the "Jail Blazer" era, I thought there was nothing that would take my loyalty away from the Blazers.  If the Blazers fire KP, who has had more influence in Portland's success than anyone else in the organization and has handled his position with class that make fans proud, there will be an enormous backlash.  It is inexplicable that this discussion is even occuring and his removal would make me a fan of whatever team he went to next.  I hope that all those with decision-making power listen to common sense, as well as their fan base and make the right decision.  Let basketball people make basketball decisions and let business people make business decisions.

First off, this is one reason why I hate Portland, the city. Every little thing gets thrown under the magnifying glass, because the Blazers are the only show in town. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else other than PDX, but the media need to chillax.

Also, we know NOTHING. We have no facts, no inside scoops, or any inside information. Before rushing to judgment, we should wait and see all the facts. Just like at the trading deadline, who really knows what was or wasn't offered for LaFrentz's expiring contract in 09?

Finally, doesn't it just seem like there are never any calm waters when in comes to the Blazers? Whether big or small, there always seems like something is out there, distracting us from basketball.  We are in a playoff chase and I can't think of a worse time to have distractions. As fans, we can do our part by just talking hoops scoreboard watching, and seeing if we can clinch our 2nd straight playoff birth.

I ride and I die with the Blazers since 1990. I've been around the highs and the lows..it is just what being a fan is about.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
