Nicolas is one of my favorite players.  His hustle and instincts are unparalleled, especially at his age.  I just found this compilation of Batum's best blocks of his career, and man there are some good ones.

I keep wondering what Batum's ceiling is.  I really think he could end up being a Scottie Pippen like player.  The only thing he's missing is assertiveness on offense, but he's improved that so far this year.  I think he's definitely part of the core starters of this team.  A lineup of Bayless (or other PG), Roy, Batum, Aldridge and Oden is a championship contending roster in the next couple years, if Oden can get healthy.

I am a fan of Winning in the playoffs despite all odds.

Let's just put it this way. With the way he has played in just 1.5 seasons, I would be disappointed if he was just as good as Tayshaun Prince. His potential is through the roof. Depending on Oden's health, Batum is probably our 2nd best player looking into the future.

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
