    Welcome to the brand new Official Messageboards for the Trail Blazers! We got a lot of feedback on what people wanted and hopefully we've incorporated your changes. Here a couple:

    1) Simplify the forums. We've create one large Trail Blazers Forum. This is where you talk about all things Trail Blazers, basketball, etc. We have one forum that is "Off-Topic" for random stuff, and one forum that is about this site specifically. If you're having issues or want to provide feedback, you can put it there. We have one long list of the Trail Blazers threads. This will be organized by date to show the most recent topic created/updated.

    2) Easier to create posts. When you come to that homepage, you'll see at the top the place where you can create a post quickly. By default it will be placed in the Trail Blazers Forum. If you want to put it in one of the others, just use the DropDown.

    3) We've brought on Moderators.

    Dhawes22 has been moderating for awhile, but I'd like to welcome:




    MsBlazer (aka Kim)




    BR7_Fan




    These guys have been really active in the boards and will be able to help keep the forums going and on track.

    4) Better control when you create a post/reply. There is a better toolbar for you where you can now quote people, link to things and add images. Also we added the "Quick Reply" at the bottom of the posts so you can quickly reply to a post.

    We like to hear feedback from you guys and always look at ways of making this better.

    Is it just me or can I not vote on the poll question?...
    Boards look good, and a lot cleaner with minimal changes to the overall look (i was thinking total change up). Bigger avatar pictures are a great change you can actually see the players/fans. Nice work guys!

    I was able to vote. What happens when you click submit? It seems that it takes a couple of seconds for the forums to get the gears kicking.

    ...got it, browser issue. New boards don't likey Google Chrome.

    That's odd. I just tried voting using Google Chrome and it worked.

    Hey BR7... I just tested on Google Chrome for MAC and could vote, it just took 3 or so seconds. Do you see the "vote" button and it doesn't do anything? Or is the button missing?

    I managed to vote without any problems or delay using Chrome.  The new boards are a big improvement.  You guys did a great job!

    Image embedding should now be fixed. We are looking into adding image uploading so that you can re-use your images down the line. But as of now, you can embed externally linked images only. Right clicking on the image and clicking "Properties" will also provide you some nice image formatting options.

    Darb, yeah I saw the buttons and everything but it didn't do anything. I switched over to Firefox real quick and that worked ok. I'll try a be a litle more patient the next time I vote on a poll.

    Well, I do like the simplicity of the new boards as it shares simulararities with the webs most popular set ups like vbulletin and pbpBB. However the old boards were "unique" and I also liked that. I like when a site tries to develop something different to set themselves aside from the rest. What I don't like is when a site "stops" developing on an idea and just let's it sit there and do nothing.

    In any case this will be good and by being easier more people will participate as they can now find things alot quicker.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
