    1990-91: Overall record: 63-19 (1st in league)
The Trail Blazers picked up where they left off the previous season when they were in the NBA Finals and captured world-wide basketball attention. They posted the league's best record, 63-19, the most wins ever by the franchise. They opened by winning their first 11 games and 19 of their first 20. They took their first eight away from home, extending a road winning streak over two seasons to 12 which equaled the second longest in NBA history.CONTINUE READING/Become of fan of this team

Two teams who are eerily similar in talent, only separated by their primes. The core players are the same for both, but the 91 team saw Porter, Kersey, and Duckworth all have their peak seasons and Drexler was in the midst of his prime. Only Buck was on the tail end of his prime seasons. In 93, the talent was still great, winning 53 games, but their bodies could not hold up as injuries took over the season. 91 wins this one hands down.

1991 all the way. Porter, Kersey, Buck, and Duck just dropped off way too much from 91 to 93. Drexler was banged up as well. The 91 team had all the stars aligned..just too bad they had one helluva bad weekend in Los Angeles and nothing to show for their epic 63 win season.

Those L*kers! This and the 2000 WCF are series where that hatred for the yellow and purple really come through. It was Magic and Worthy vs. that balanced starting 5 of Portland all in their prime of their careers. Great team to watch play.

If you or anyone else is interested in the behind-the-scene aspect of that 63 win season, I highly recommend reading The Long, Hot Winter which follows theteam throughout the season narrated from the perspective of head coach Rick Adleman.

Myself and Blazer003 have uploaded the entire 1991 video yearbook to YouTube, which can be seen HERE

I watched Shabazz at the combine and he was a poor shooter.  In fact he did  so bad he did not even show up for drills in day two.  He may be a scorer not a shooter.  If he throws up enough shots he scores.  If someone looks a...

I would agree LMA is a decent defender but his help defense and team defense needs a lot of work. It is in these areas that Bosh really separates himself from LMA and it is because of that he is a better player than LMA despite not putting the sam...

I was looking at some shooting stats and came across a very very alarming stat. LMA was the league leader in FGA from 16-23 feet. Not only was he the leader he was lead by a mile. His 7.3 attempts from this distance easily outpaced Demar Derozan w...

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

His defense was decent last year but not that good as he is either too weak or just unwil...
