    I hope you all have fun with this site. It's a total drag for me. Really unfortunate. I met a lot of really good people on the old site, but i'd rather smash my balls with a hammer than to try and get anything out of this site. Good luck all. And to my friends from the old site, thanks for the good times. It was a lot of fun.

    It was a lot of fun. I too will miss all my Blazer fan friends who don't care for the new site. Mrb, send me a message so we can talk playoffs. Go Blazers !!!

    Hey Mr. Blazer. I know you've been a frequenter of both Barrett's blog on the messageboards. We're working on getting the messageboards so they are better than what they are right now. Some of the things I've requested include when fans type a topic, that if they put links in, or if we type in paragraphs, it will recognize that. That seems like a basic thing. Showing when someone replies to a post and having it show right under that post instead of kicking it to the bottom seems like it should be good.

    What other things would like you like to see? Unlike the other site, we have control over this one, so if something isn't right, than we can fix it. I would hate to lose some of our best posters before we can make changes to get it right.

    Pretty much the layout of the message boards sucks. It's too complicated and just plain looks ugly.

    Get as close to how the old message boards look and we'll be happy. But for now, HORRIBLE job.

    The biggest thing that bothered me was how I couldn't log in under my old screenname after I switched to this site. I had it set up, then couldn't log in or send me my password. So, I had to create a new, basically identical profile. That was a big hassle.

    Besides that, I enjoy some of the new features (I haven't gotten around to using all of them). As far as message boards go, they are fine temporarily...the biggest problem I see are the stupid posts. I think it would be a big mistake to dismiss this site immediately. I think a lot of the discomfort is due to how familiar you were with the old site, when if you first came in now, you might think this was better. It's tough when you've been working with something for so long and it switches. It's tough to be objective.

    Anyway, I think I'm getting more used to it. I do like the pictures beside each post. That's fun.

    Its been a hastle switching to this site and its too complicated and a wanna be face book. The other one was just a simple solid way that everyone liked. Did anyone even request for a change?

    I love you mr b. even though we hardly agreed. Im going to try and get used to this site and I hope you come around too.

    Hey Blazer D0g-

    Yeah, we had a lot of requests for new stuff on the old site. A lot of people asked to have more than just messageboards since they didn't use them or create topics. So, we created other features for these fans to use. Of course, we want keep Messageboards as one of the most important part of the site, so we're dedicated to making them better and more usable.

    The developers have added on paging on the Active Discussions module and we'll be adding some more features to that part of the messageboards in the upcomming weeks, so stay tuned.

    Once again, thanks for being patient, we'll make this site awesome for everyone.

    Don't let them push you around Darbpunk. This site is awesome. People are just afraid of change. The message boards are great. If they are really that upset about not being able to use the (tab) button in order to indent their paragraphs then they need to get a life. The Site menu and Quick Access make it so much easier to take advantage of all the site has to offer. The site is awesome and people just need to take the time to explore the site rather than jump to conclusions. Once you get the hang of it, it is a lot easier to use and has much more to boost the fan experience. I had an account on the old site too so I know what both were like and I like the overall experience here much more than the old site. Some people just don't have a life, don't take it personal.

    Got used to it. But in the boards, having to use my scroll bar more is a pain. Oh well.

    I used to be a regular on the old site and when the change took place it was so disconcerting that I left. It looks like there have been a few changes since the introduction of the new format that make the site a little more usable... However, the navigation is still poorly designed and not at all intuitive.

    I really enjoyed the posting format of the old site, it was much easier to navigate and follow the discussions.

    I hope not everyone has left. I'm very sad to see that some apparently have, but as I haven't been here in almost a year, I do understand where they are coming from.
    I am a fan of Miller's pin-point passes, Brandon Roy's ability to put the ball in the hoop from all angles, Oden, Rudy's flair and Bayless' tenacity.
