Long break until New Orleans

    After a sad month of all the injuries and the news of Oden, Portland gets a long break until Friday. With the return of Joel and hopefully Roy who may not be at full health and getting as many minutes, I still like the look of this team. Marcus doesn't have the height and power like Joel who is a more legitimate center underneath. Hornets beat us in New Orleans and this is our time to return the favor since we will have a more complete team and will be a perfect test for Joel against an elite team such as New Orleans. With all the criticism and bad news, I feel we finished this month better then predicted with a winning record. Imagine what we will do around the Holidays with the return of Joel. It will be our time to rise to the top of the ranks and surprise the league.

    New Orleans is a good team, Portland will be getting adjusted with a new line-up if Joel comes back, as for Roy, I think they should trade him for someone who has healthy legs. I think they could get a good deal out of him. They have it in them to beat good teams but they haven't been consistent, they seem to blow a lot of close games. Hopefully your right about them rising to the top of the ranks and surprising the league as well as myself because so far, I don't think they will play much different then they have.

    All I can say is, give Roy a chance. Keep LaMarcus because he's improved his game, and Joel isn't going to do much but bring better Defense, especially down low, get rid of Nate Mcmillin, he needs to be traded for a better coach.

    Didn't Nate get coach of the year a few years back? I could be wrong, but I remember it being talked about awhile ago because of how impressed the league was with our team because they were playing better then predicted. I wouldn't worry about trades until it's time or by the end of the year, the main focus is now and the next game. Not much they can do at the moment. Need to work with what we got.
