Watching this i realized that people need to start giving TO more respect as a player then he is getting. A good portion of those highlights are TO.

    1. The man can elevate especially with those long arms.
    2. His length helps tons on defense when pressuring a shot.
    3. He has a decent mid range pull-up jumper.
    4. In the forth quarter his game increases.

I personally wouldnt start him but to everyone saying he would be a third string back up. You must be confused.

Outlaw is an amazing athelete. I think some Blazer fans get on his case, because they're not used to his style of play. We've gotten used to our small forwards doing clean-up duty, not trying to be a super shooter. Examples include Ime Udoka, Ruben Patterson, Scottie Pippen, and of course, the Blazer's best small forward ever, Jerome Kersey. These players thrived in help defense, back-door cuts, and rebounding. I think that Travis learned some real bad habits from playing with Zebo for so many years. He's kinda turned into a black-hole on offense, and he tends watch the ball flying though the air, instead of charging the paint to snag a rebound. But hey, "Catfish" helped us win a grip of games last season. I definately like him as a Blazer, just not at the PF spot. When guys like Andre Miller can back him down and score at will on him, it just shows that Outlaw is NOT, a power forward.
I am a fan of multiple All-Stars on the Blazers roster this season!

Yes.  It is difficult for me to force the words, "trade Outlaw" out of my mouth.  However, when considering what the team needs and by considering how many "chances" we've given Outlaw to whoo us on the court I just don't see any way of signing him to a longer deal.  The man is crazy talented and would flourish in a different setting which called for him to be the #1 or #2 option on offense.  Here in Portland he is behind Roy, Aldridge, Rudy and probably Martell.  I just don't see us needing him AND Martell.  One of them must go.  I think right now, because we would get more for Outlaw than Martell, Outlaw is the chosen one.  I agree he shouldn't be "forced" into playing the PF position, even though it creates problems for teams.  I would rather have a player who creates a problem on the defensive rebounds or offensive than a player just creating a mismatch.  But who knows what will happen now that Hedo backed out.  Maybe the Blazers will actually keep all their SFs...I hope not though.
