So I have to ask you guys cause sombody did this and it made me sad. I you were to move to another city far away and have a differant basketball team nearby would you keep the faith with the blazers or would you trade teams. so i guess i am asking how hardcore you really are giving certain conditions.

The Blazers are my team no matter where I may live. I was born here, grew up here, and thus no matter where I may live, Portland is my home. I have stuck by them through heartache and success, I will continue to root for them until either my last breath or the NBA disolves due to an officiating scandal being revealed by the US Government. Which ever comes first. If the latter comes first then I will become a Blazer historian and pass the stories along to my kids, their friends, my grandkids, and their friends. The Blazers are, and will always be, my team in the NBA. The only time I might have a dual loyalty is if a family member makes it into the NBA. The chances of that are pretty slim though.

That is awsome. Because there has been lots of heartache and sucess and it has been a journey but I LOVE them and nothing can change that and that is cool how you do too.

Portland has the best fans in the league. Especially the 300 lvl folks. If you were to have to bail from the area, and you lived near another NBA ball club, that's just more basketball to enjoy, and fans that you'd get to know. It's also more incentive to buy the NBA League Pass, so's you don't miss any Blazer games.
I am a fan of multiple All-Stars on the Blazers roster this season!

I can comment from experience that location should not change loyalty I live in Florida. I am and will always be a Blazer fan but can only make it to the games in Florida and maybe 2-3 a year actually in Portland. I do go for Orlando in there games against other teams besides Portland because I am a fan of the sport and it sucks to watch and not cheer.
I am a fan of a run at those rings in 2011 when GO comes back to dominate!!!!!!!!!!!

Portland does have the best fans in the league and that is really cool and true, because we have been through so much but it is fun isnt it.

It's awesome! We have the most positive energy in the league, we're louder and more creative, and we care more about respecting the game than any other fans. Portland was rated the most depressed city in the nation, but you wouldn't be able to tell by the energy that floods the Rose Garden every gamenight. This is why I created the Blazer Chanters Group. So that we can, as a community of fans, maximize the energy in that building every single game. If you haven't checked us out, you should because we have some really funny and entertaining ideas.

Yeah, I think all three of us are, but I am hoping that others who read this post will sign up for Blazer Chanters too! We really want to make these Blazer Games a special, unique, NBA experience. I think one of the cool things about the Blazers is that it is hard to find a casual Blazers fan. If you are a fan, you will be a fan for life. You may root for the home team when they aren't playing Portland, but when the Blazers are in town it is Rip City all the way. That shows a lot of class from our fans. I think the people who took that survey about the most depressed citys forgot to check out the sporting events. I believe it was based off of suicide rates per capita, weather, "adult" entertainment, divorce rate, unemployment, and other similar social aspects. Unfortunately, those aren't what define Portland, those are more like just facts of life.

Yeah blazer chanters is a really cool group and I think we need to get all the fans we can possibly get to come and check it out cause that is a awsome group and one of the reasons I created this post was to seperate the real fans from people who just come onto this sight to make fun of us, I have ran into these kind of people and I am sick of it. But I do think that all fans should join blazer chanters and Long Time Fans for those who have belived in the blazers for a long time.

Well I live in Iceland but if I moved to America I would never even think about supporting another team!

I am a fan of a young and strong team which can smash the big teams!

I would only like the new team if they were winning, they weren't in the Northwest Division, they weren't playing the blazers, they have to have young good players on and off the court. But the second that the new team's success starts to interfere with the blazer's own success I would hate that team.
