Trail Blazers Host San Antonio Spurs In 2013-14 Home Opener November 2


The Portland Trail Blazers will open their 2013-14 home schedule against the defending Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Rose Garden. Portland will tip-off its 44th NBA season on the road vs. Phoenix on Wednesday, Oct. 30, it was announced today by the NBA.Continue Reading

    Coby Karl (6-5, 215, Boise State, b. 6/8/83), Justin Holiday (6-6, 185, Washington, b. 4/5/89) and Dallas Lauderdale (6-8, 255, Ohio State, b. 9/11/88) have been added to the Stampede’s training camp roster as affiliate players. NBA D-League teams can protect the rights of up to three NBA affiliate teams’ training camp players.     The Portland Trail Blazers have requested waivers on Demonte Harper, Justin Holiday, Coby Karl, Dallas Lauderdale and Adam Morrison, it was announced today by General Manager Neil Olshey. Karl averaged 4.8 points, 1.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 11.8 minutes in four preseason games. Morrison posted averages of 3.2 points, 1.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 11.4 minutes in five games. After missing their final home preseason game, LaMarcus Aldridge is expected to start in the finale. The Trail Blazers had their best offensive performance of the preseason against the Jazz and they look to end the preseason on a high note.     The Wells Fargo Fan Fest, was a fun filled affair, as it was intended to be. The game was full of many highlight reel type plays. The black team defeated the white team in the scrimmage 79-74 with Meyers Leonard garnering MVP honors.
