Trail Blazers @ Nuggets Game Thread
This will likely be The Thrill's third straight start so look for consistency. Against Dallas, he had the 22-13-6-3 line, but was unable to match that output the following game against Los Angeles where he shot just 4-12 from the field and didn't have much of an impact on the glass, record just 1 rebound. Will calling card coming out of Memphis was his ability rebound the basketball. So even if he's not shooting it well, he has the type of game to make an impact in all other facets. He's fantastic at playing the passing lanes, thieving the opposition 7 times over these last three games. Case and point was the Oklahoma City game. Will ended up with 18 points, but it took him 19 shots to do so, but that's not where his production ended. He went back to the basics and crashed the glass to the tune of 7 rebounds and ended up with his usual 2 steals. If The Thrill can get to the basket, crash the boards, and play those passing lanes against one of the hottest teams in the NBA, Trail Blazers fans will have even more reason to be happy about the future.
So Rip City, what are your keys to victory?
