Trail Blazers Vs. Jazz Game Thread
Like Brooklyn, Utah poses matchup problems up front for the Trail Blazers. Brook Lopez went off for 28 points on 12-22 shooting so the Blazers must find a way to slow down Utah's quartet of post players: Al Jefferson, Paul Milsap, Enis Kanter, and Derrick Favors. While Lopez was able to score, he wasn't the decided factor in the outcome. Reggie Evans bullied his way to an astounding 26 rebounds. So it all starts on the glass Friday. Not only will Portland have to win the rebound battle, but they must own the paint. Utah ranks 9th in the NBA in paint buckets, averaging 42.9 a night compared to Portland's 37.2 (28th in the League). If the Trail Blazers can win both categories, they'll walk away with another home victory over the Jazz.
So Rip City, what are your keys to victory?
