“I was pleased with the way we played. Last game, I wanted our team to play hard. Our fans have been great all season. I told the team before the game – it was important for us to play hard. Win or lose, play hard because I really have grown to appreciate the fans here. I’m not just saying that, I have a big appreciation of what the fans of Portland mean for the team. I’ve been in this league twenty years and the fans here are exceptional. I wanted our team to play to level that they expected and I thought they did that. Obviously it’s disappointing to lose, but more importantly, I liked the way we played for the last game of the season.”
    On Aldridge’s performance:
“I’ve said this before, but I think he’s underappreciated. I think he’s the best power forward in the league and he showed it tonight. Again, he’s had an outstanding season and he’s had just one of many here. I have got the most respect for what he’s been able to do.”

On not playing Aldridge in fourth quarter:
“I wanted him to get the 30 and 20, I thought that was good. But I wanted the young guys to play. I wanted the young guys to close it out. They were playing well, they were playing hard and I wanted them to play.”

Paul Allen said he thought you’ve done a good job in your first season, what’s your response?
“My response would be ‘thank you.’ It’s nice when your boss thinks you’re doing a good job. This season has kind of been – I have a lot of fondness for this season. Obviously we’ve lost 13 in a row but when I look back on a lot of things we did, particularly in the first 50, 60 games and some of the wins that we had and how we played and the close games – I’m going to have a lot of fondness for this entire season. Again, the losing streak at the end – you can’t wipe that off the record. That’s obviously part of it, but I’ll remember more about the first two thirds of the season than the last 13 games.”

On finishing rookie year with start and 48 minutes:
“It felt real good to get my first season under my belt. It went kind of fast. I feel like just yesterday I Was getting drafted, coming in here for summer league and stuff like that and now it’s over.”
    On playing 48 minutes:
“You never know in this league, that’s why you have to keep working hard, keep a positive attitude and stay at it. Eventually your time will come, you’ve just got to be ready for it.”

What was most suprising about first year?
“Probably that the season would go by this fast. Being in college, all I could think about was getting to this level and playing in the NBA and now I’m already through my first season. Life goes fast.”

What do you plan to work on most?
“Mostly my shooting. My three point shooting. Get a little stronger, really just working on my overall game. I’ve got to improve in every aspect so when I come back next year, you’ll notice an improvement in my game. I’m always a guy who likes to fill a stat sheet up and play a complete game so to do that I feel I have to work on every aspect.”

    On playing 48 minutes tonight:
“I didn’t know going into the game I was going to play 48 – you never know in this league, stuff happens. I’d like to play another game.”

    - Series history … With tonight’s result, Golden State has snapped a two-game losing streak against the Trail Blazers in Portland … The Warriors won all three meetings with Portland in 2012-13, just the second time ever that Golden State has swept the regular season series with the Trail Blazers (4-0, 2005-06).

    - Joining history … Damian Lillard finished with 21 points and three assists … Lillard is the fourth rookie in NBA history to average 19.0 points and 6.0 assists in a season (Oscar Robertson, Allen Iverson, Damon Stoudamire).

    - Doing it all … Lillard is the first rookie to lead the NBA in total minutes played (3,167) in a season since Elvin Hayes in 1968-69 (Elias) … Lillard is the seventh Trail Blazers rookie and the only Portland player this season to play in all 82 contests.

    - Elite … LaMarcus Aldridge scored 30 points and tallied a season-high 21 rebounds … Aldridge joins Maurice Lucas as the only Trail Blazers in team history with two career 30-point, 20-rebound games … Aldridge is the fifth NBA player this year with a 30-point, 20-rebound game (D. Cousins, J. Noah, Z. Randolph, N. Vucevic) … Aldridge’s 17 defensive rebounds is a new career high (14, 1/20/12 at TOR).

    - Double-double machines … Aldridge recorded his 38th double-double of the season, extending his career high for most double-doubles in a season … Aldridge and JJ Hickson combined for 78 double-doubles, the most by any two teammates in the NBA this season.

    - Late slide … Portland lost 13 consecutive games to end the 2012-13 season, tied for the longest losing streak in franchise history (13, Feb. 12-March 4, 1972).

    - New record … Stephen Curry became the all-time leader in the NBA for most made 3-pointers in a season (272).

    - Thank you, Chuck! … Chuck Charnquist worked his 1,932nd game as media room game manager with the Trail Blazers, marking the end of a run that started in the inaugural 1970-71 season.
