    HEAD COACH TERRY STOTTS
On team setting NBA record with most missed 3’s without a make:
“Yes, I know we broke a record, and for that record to be broken in a win is even more impressive.”

“It was a good win for us. Obviously they’re undermanned with Bargnani going out and Kleiza not playing and Lowry getting hurt, so obviously they weren’t at full strength. But nonetheless, I thought Sasha Pavolvic played a terrific game – defensively more than anything else, but he played heavy minutes and I thought he did a terrific job defensively and offensively. Obviously, LA did everything that we needed from him. I thought it was a really good team win. We got a lot of good efforts from a lot of people.”

    On defensive keys:
“First off, them being undermanned obviously affected their ability score. But again, I thought Sasha made DeRozan work for his points. I thought that was a key for us. Our pick and roll defense, we were aggressive on Calderon, on all his pick and rolls. We did a good job of scrambling and covering the paint. We had good activity.”

    On Hickson’s strong game”
“He came in and I thought particularly the second half, he came in and the first nine minutes of the second half, he went after everything. They went small for a long time and I didn’t have a matchup for him. He stayed ready, they went back with two bigs, and then he made an impact as soon as he came back in the game.”

    On Claver:
“Victor sees the game really well. I like the way he moves around. I thought his shots were good shots. He just didn’t make them. I don’t think that had any impact on my opinion of how he played. The one shot that he hit was the toughest shot of the night. He was ready to play. To be honest, I think the two games in the D-league helped him. It got him in a game rhythm and had a feel for being out on the court again.”

    JJ HICKSON
“Tonight was a big game for us to get a team victory. We played great team defense and we didn’t come out sluggish at all. In past games, we came out sluggish and it just carries on though the whole game. Tonight, we came out, we had a pop to our step and we got the win.”

Was mentality different without Batum and Matthews?

“I think it actually motivated everyone knowing we were shorthanded. Nic and Wes are two of our better defensive players. Everybody contributed tonight. Sasha did a good job on DeRozan.”

    On getting win undermanned:
“It felt great to know we could be down a couple players and still get the win. Like I just said, we were down 2 starters and it was a great team victory for us. We knew we were going to have to play extra hard because we were short handed, but guys stepped up and we got a win.”

    LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE
“It was a good win. We had dropped one against Sacramento that we didn’t feel good about. We knew that they were coming in on a long road trip, a back to back, and haven’t won much on the road, so we wanted to come out early and take their life from them and just play solid.”

    On winning undermanned:
“It was tough but I thought guys stepped up. Sasha played great for us. I think he had 10, 7, and 5. I thought Vic came out and played well. I thought guys stepped up tonight.”

    On defensive keys:
“We really locked in on our matchups tonight. We knew tendencies better tonight and they were on a back to back. Our energy was good tonight.”
