Halloween the best day of the year

Yesterday was the best day of the year for me because I took my son out trick or treating, the Blazers kicked ass, and the most hated Lakers were the team that the Blazers stomped. Days just don't get much better then that. Our team looked very good, I can't wait till Meyers Leonard is seasoned enough to be the starter at center. Our core of young players is really solid but at this point several teams young core players look solid. I hope we can keep it up and surprise the sports community.

A note on the Lakers: It took the Heat a year to get on the same page with 2 and 1/2 stars Wade, James, and Bosh. It could take longer for the Lakers with 4 stars Kobe, Nash, Howard, and Gasol.

  1. I think the Lakers in another year are older, slower and bleeding payroll. I love this team and the comraderie they seem to have. We are lucky to have a Blazer team that fans can really get behind and a coach who gets them on the same page. I'm optimistic about the season and loved seeing them really destoy a superstar laden team last night that was crowned best of the west before they even played a game. Under the radar is where we thrive in Portland!
