Nike Hoop Summit: Meet Team USA

By sarahhecht Posted in: nikehoopsummit
Every year the top high school basketball talent in the country is assembled to compete in the Nike Hoop Summit.  USA vs. the World.

As we count down the days to April 9th, I’ll tell you about the two teams, past participants and the local Jesuit High School student selected to play this year.

Up first: Team USA

Team USA is comprised of high school seniors selected to the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Select Team. This year members of the team have committed to top college basketball programs like Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky and Florida. Needless to say, they’re the best of the best.

Being invited to participate in the Nike Hoop Summit is an honor. The outstanding men selected to the USA roster are all dedicated to the game. But these guys aren’t just about basketball. The Team USA members took some time to fill out personal profiles for the Nike Hoop Summit website, and they are a vast array of characters. There are Kool-Aid lovers, band geeks, Honor Roll members, cave jumpers and even Nate Robinson’s cousin.

Check out their player profiles to learn more.
