We here at Trail Blazers HQ are always trying to find ways to give you a small glimpses into what it's like to be a professional basketball player. With that in mind, we present the continuing series entitled "In The Bag" in which we show you what a member of the Trail Blazers is toting around. And yes, this is almost a complete ripoff of The Fader's excellent "The Things I Carry" series.
You have to be judicious when it comes to packing for a seven-game, twelve-day road trip. Hard decisions have to be made if you don't want to carry around multiple bags, and when you're a rookie, you'll be carrying your own bags AND the bags of a veteran on the team, which only heightens the importance of packing only the essentials and items of clothing that can be worn more than once.
There can be no wasted space, so pieces of luggage such as backpacks and garment bags take on extra importance. A large carry-on, even though we don't really "check" bags, per say, is valuable, and if it's stylish as well, all the better.
Such is the case with Damian Lillard's black Gucci backpack. With a large main compartment and various ancillary pockets, it makes for a valuable bag, both in price and utility. It can easily fit all of the items Damian needs to keep close when traveling to practice or from city to city.
