So on Tuesday we conducted our internal media day, which is very similar to the media day at the beginning of the season, but it's shorter and outside media aren't invited. Basically it's a chance to get pictures, video, radio drops, ect. in preparation for the remainder of the season and, with any luck, playoffs. It's so important that it's actually mandated in the collective bargaining agreement.

What that means for me is that we get to do our media day live video chats with the players, something that always ends up producing a few candid moments. There's no telling what will happen, be it Martell doing the running man behind Nicolas to Jerryd making cultural distinctions based on the way different groups play dominoes. From the feedback that I get from the players, it's the most enjoyable part of an otherwise hectic day.

So the video is 110 minutes of uncut web chatting. I've gone through and timed out who is up when so you can jump around if you so choose.

0:00 - 10:20 Rudy Fernandez
10:20 - 16:41 Andre Miller
16:41 - 20:20 LaMarcus Aldridge
17:00 - 31:35 Dante Cunningham (Dante stood in during Aldridge's segment)
31:35 - 40:03 Nicolas Batum (with a cameo from Martell Webster)
46:48 - 65:22 Jerryd Bayless
65:45 - 75:03 Marcus Camby
75:25 - 85:10 Travis Diener
86:10 - 96:50 Jeff Pendergraph
96:50 - 106:14 Brandon Roy

  1. Oh man, if you're not going to cut it up, at least use a video player that allows for skipping through before the whole thing has loaded (2 hours!). Talk to the IT guy.

  2. I didn't realize how funny Bayless is. That dominos conversation was hilarious. I was looking forward to seeing Webster but he bailed on us. Whats up with that?
