Video: Marcus Camby's Reaction To Being A Trail Blazer

I don't know what happened at Ringside last night. I wasn't there. But after talking today to Marcus Camby at the practice facility, I can say with a fair amount of certainty that he's very happy to join the Portland Trail Blazers. And in talking to members of the coaching and front office staff today, I can assure you that the feeling is mutual.

After taking his first stroll around the practice facility, I had a chance to talk to Camby about his initial thoughts on the trade that brought him to Portland, how he thinks he can help the team, his thoughts on starting and why he's happy to have the Rose Garden crowd on his side for the first time in his professional career.

  1. Already like him :) Hopefully Camby will be that piece we've needed to solidify our inside defense and rebounding. AND ONCE AGAIN WE CAN SAY IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A BLAZER!!!

  2. Very concerned at first for this trade. I hope Marcus can fit in with our team and do what he does best, defend. Good luck to you sir and may you help us rise to the next level. As for Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw, thank you. You guys are gentlement, professionals and great people for our city. We wish you all the luck and good wishes for your future.

  3. Good trade. We have about 5 guards and one make-shift center. It would be weird to go to a city to play, and find out your staying though.
