As my girlfriend Bonnie can would tell you, I'm terrible at talking on the phone. I view the phone as a means to convey quick messages, rather than engage in meaningful conversations. It's just the way I am. I need a visual to spark conversation.

Which is why I love having someone else with me in the podcast studio. It just flows much better; ideas come to me more freely. And that's why I think today's Podcast with Dave Deckard, he of, and Dwight Jaynes, he of The MSP, Talkin' Ball,, is one of the best we've done. Both Dave and Dwight were in studio, as you can tell by the audio quality and the overall flow.

On today's podcast we discuss everything that went wrong last night, the one thing that went right, the difficult stretch ahead, how the policing of the game has changed and a few other things that I'm surely forgetting. It's a good 50 minutes worth of Trail Blazers talk.

  1. Great Podcast Casey. I was in large part in agreement with everyone. I would have to disagree about the Blazers not sticking up for other players. To me it always seem that Brandon and Lamarcus are in other players faces. I like that intensity. We need Oden to be that enforcer...where every tema knows not to mess with any Blazer.

A quick comment about Rudy. He will be fine..he is getting used to getting back into game shape and getting used to his new lineup. Once Roy comes back and Nic gets up to will see Rudy get back into the mesh and start catching fire again.

  2. I think the take on Rudy is a little off... Rudy is always very active coming off of picks and going in and out of the paint. The problem is other than Brandon and Andre this team is not great at distributing. If Lamarcus could step up his intensity and become a better passer we could roll!!!
