The Portland Trail Blazers had a rather eventful night in Minneapolis. They built a 22-point lead before the Timberwolves rallied to make it a two-point game before eventually push ahead for the 102-97 victory
. They shot 16 for 24 from the 3-point line, tying the franchise mark for 3-point makes in a game
. And the result was a win to finish a difficult four-games-in-five-nights road trip that also included wins at the Knicks and Grizzlies.
But maybe the most unbelievable event came courtesy of rookie forward Victor Claver
, who banged on Timberwolves center Greg Steisma in the second quarter of Saturday night's victory. Claver has had some difficulty finishing at the hoop and finding minutes with Wesley Matthews back in the lineup, but if he's able to attack the rim like he did in the highlight above, he might solve both problems.
