Meyers Leonard is one of the rookies blogging this season for NBA.com. In
his most recent update, Meyers notes that his skills tickling the ivory have improved this holiday season.
Before I forget to mention it, I want to wish everybody a very happy holidays and a happy new year! I hope you’re all having a great time with your family and friends!
I’ll also tell you that I perfected “Jingle Bells” on the piano for the holidays.
So Meyers' steady improvement isn't isolated to basketball. It's always nice to have players with varied interests.
The rookie also notes the team will be in New York City for a New Year's Day game against the Knicks, and that he hopes to fulfull one of this life-long goals in the process.
We are playing the Knicks in New York on New Year’s Day, which is kind of neat. My girlfriend is going to come out, but I’m not sure what we’re going to do yet. If there’s any way possible, I’d like to see the Times Square ball drop. I know that probably sounds kind of cheesy, but it’s one of those bucket list type of things for me.
Meyers also talks about the
trip to St. Mary's Home For Boys. Give it a read before the ball drops.
