Video: David Aldridge And Frank Isola Show Love

By caseyholdahl Posted in: geraldwallace, LaMarcusAldridge, RaymondFelton

David Aldridge, he of and TNT, has long been one of my favorite NBA scribes, and he does nothing to change that opinion on today's edition of "The Beat" on Aldridge, along with Frank Isola of the New York Daily News and NBA TV, talk up our beloved Trail Blazers while discussing the best teams in the West and the worst teams in the East. Pretty easy to figure out where we fit in that equation.

There's discussion of David Aldridge's "cousin" LaMarcus, the play of Gerald Wallace and Raymond Felton and the steady leadership of coach Nate McMillan. If you want a boost of confidence going into tonight's game against the Clippers, watching at least the first five minutes of the video above would be a good start.

  1. Casey:

We love the love here in Blazerland.
We always knew we were better then most thought
We are not as good as we want to be yet
We are a little better then we used to be.

I am not sure we didn't just trade pace.
Where we were terrible at fast pace
We are good at fast pace
Were we were good at half court
We are poor at half court.
But give that to Nate, for using his talent.
It is still early, and don't forget,
we are going on our first road trip.

  2. Really nice to see national attention giving credit, after pretty much everyone around the league wrote Portland off, due to Brandon's retirement. I love D. Aldridge, too Casey. One of my favorites

  3. love the chemistry of this team; they have a good mix of youth, experience, and level headedness.
