Usually Nate McMillan limits the amount of live action the media gets to see at the end of practice, and with good reason. It's easier to ... correct behavior when there's not a pack of reporters and cameramen just a basketball court away. The possibility of distraction is always a problem, and that possibility is exacerbated by the compressed timeline leading up to the first game of the season the day after Christmas. There's no time to lose focus. Not this year.
But sometimes, Coach throws us a bone and allows the media to watch the team run, as he did today after the second day of training camp. Maybe he thought, after the day we all went through Friday, that watching actual basketball would be the best thing for everybody.
And what we get to see, you get to see. Please enjoy the above video of the team scrimmaging 5-on-5 full court at the end of the second day of training camp practices.
