Oct 25

Regular season's greetings folks. Dave Deckard, he of, and I, Casey Holdahl of, check in right before the start of the regular season opener with a new Podcast.

This week Dave and I start look at the trade that sent Jerryd Bayless to New Orleans, briefly discuss the reported signing of Fabricio Oberto, look at potential lineups (especially in the after-Bayless period we now find ourselves in), give our thoughts on what we'd like to see out of Tuesday night's game and from the season in general. One more day!

  1. Hey guys! Great chat as usual - it was great to hear your voice again as well :-). Believe or not, I couldn't sleep, so I popped the laptop back on and decided to write some comments on some blogs, while listening to you guys - and it is now 12:43 am here in Prague.

Anyways, yes, the season is finally here and though I'm limited to highlights in the morning as I eat breakfast, it will be great to finally see the guys out there, now that the games count. Time sure has flown, as I can remember previous podcasts from the last two seasons as we approached this same point in the year.

Well, GO BLAZERS!!! Beat the Suns!

Thanks guys and enjoy the season.

From 5/6 Dr. Anees (that's my real first name by the way) aka the Indian guy - from Prague for one last year! Peace!

  2. Well done, as always, Casey.

Since I heard my name....I've got the Blazers with a team salary of just over $73.9 million, which would leave them about $3.6 million over the tax threshold.

  3. Glad to be a part of your process aneebaba.

Storyteller: I knew you'd come through with the correct info. What I was trying to say was that they save whatever Bayless' salary is from a luxury tax standpoint. But you state it far better, as always. Thanks!
