This game was tied going into the 4th Q. I don't know if that adds to the frustration of losing by 16 or not, but either way this game (read: 4th quarter) was not fun. Adding insult to injury, Marcus Camby suffered an actual injury in the first half and did not return. A quick glance at the rebounding stats, a 50 to 36 advantage to the Spurs, tells the

The best thing about a loss in the NBA regular season is you get to play again in a few days. Back in the comforts of the Rose Garden the Blazers beat the Cavs by 20. The game was close in the first half, but the Blazers found their rhythm in the second half. LMA came out of the locker room on fire. As Bill Walton would say "his hair is literally aflame!".

After beating the Lakers just 20-some hour earlier, the Blazers were blown out by the Suns. Not many positives in this one. Gerald Wallace had 1 point. For those scoring at home, that's 30 less than the previous night. The Blazers shot 32.5% from the field. That's a recipe for an L in the NBA.

Win or lose, my Dad will point to one play in a game that he believes decided the outcome. It's not always a scoring play; in fact sometimes it's a ref's call or lack of a call. It doesn't have to be a scoring play.
I am going to do a game blog for each game with my "One Key Play". This is my first blog entry.
