McMillan struggles as injury puts him out of sight, even if he's not out of mind for Blazers (oregonlive.com)

    CLEVELAND - As fans settle in to watch the Trail Blazers tipoff Friday against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, one place in the Portland area will have no snacks, no drinks and no viewing enjoyment.

    Welcome to the home of Nate McMillan, the Trail Blazers coach.

    "There''s absolutely no popcorn being popped here," McMillan said sternly over the phone today from his West Linn home. "This is not fun and games for me."

    McMillan, of course, has not been with the Blazers for the past two games a loss Monday in New York and a victory Wednesday in Indiana because he had surgery on Monday to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon in his right foot.
