  1. Written by: trailblazers  / avg. rating: 4.5

A recap from the June 6th pre-draft workout in Portland featuring Washington's Matthew Bryan-Amaning, Ohio State's Jon Diebler, Morehead State's Kenneth Faried, Villanova's Corey Fisher, Georgetown's Austin Freeman, and Washington's Isaiah Thomas.

  3. "Every summer I end up going back to play with the national team, kind of get an atmosphere of how it is playing with pros and that pro kind of lifestyle," said Bryan-Amaning, who was one of six players to workout for the Trail Blazers on June 6. "All those guys on the national team are a majority of pros and they've been through the same process before."

  4. Jon Diebler

  5. Jon Diebler is a 6-6 Guard from Ohio State. Diebler averaged 12.6 ppg and 2.6 rebounds. He holds the Ohio State and Big Ten career three-point field goal record.

  6. Kenneth Faried

  7. "Everything (Faried) does is hard," said McMillan. "The guy ties his shoe hard. Everything he does is hard. He's certainly a guy that's on our radar screen and when i watched him up in Chicago, all of the drills, everything he did out on the floor was hard."

  8. Corey Fisher

  9. “Four year proven player comes from a great league,” said Chad Buchanan, the Trail Blazers acting General Manager and Director of College Scouting. “He’s really improved his game, especially his shooting, over the course of his career. Good with the ball, not a great athlete, and that’s something he’ll have to overcome, especially being a point guard and not having great speed and quickness, but tricky with the basketball and just a solid player."

  10. Austin Freeman

  11. “Another four-year guy,” said Chad Buchanan, the Trail Blazers acting General Manager and Director of College Scouting. “A lot of these guys being four-year guys they’re very polished and put them in a work out like this and you don’t have to teach them a whole lot, you just let them play and Austin’s one of those guys he’s not gonna wow you athletically or do many things that are gonna catch your eye but the more you watch him the more you appreciate his intelligence, he can make shots, he understands positioning, sees the floor, just a solid all around guard.”

  12. Isaiah Thomas

  13. “Isaiah had a very good workout,” said Chad Buchanan, the Trail Blazers acting General Manager and Director of College Scouting. “Very good pick and roll point guard it’s a skill that he’s got to have at our level which he showed today. Made shots, made mid-range jumpers, made good decisions with the ball, very competitive, feisty kid. Very confident kid which is, at that size you’ve gotta kinda have those extra traits to compensate for your lack of size. I thought he was very good today.”
