Trail Blazers: Season In Review: Patty Mills
"The Three Goggles, Rudy Fernandez, and team chemistry. What do those three things all have in common? Patty Mills. But they never could have turned out the way each did had Mills decided not to attend Trail Blazers training camp. Coming off a Summer League which saw rookie point guard Armon Johnson outplay him and with three other point guards already on the roster, many were wondering what Patty's motives could possibly be; he was the 16th man on a 15-man roster. But he reiterated time and time again that he wanted to play for the Blazers, because they drafted him and if it didn't work out he had a backup plan, which many assumed was a bevvy of international offers to choose from. And when Jeff Pendergraph unexpectedly went down with a torn ACL on October 7th in Utah, a roster spot opened up and the Trail Blazers quickly ensured Mills would be a member of the 2010-11 squad."

Trail Blazers: Draft Fever Begins, Who Will Portland Pick?
“The 18-year-old Brazilian center is a project, to be sure. But his 7-foot-6 wingspan and unfulfilled frame have left some scouts wondering if he could be a defensive force someday. And for an organization that has been suffering through the Greg Oden years for what seems like so long no, there’s no harm in taking a flyer on a player who could be its center of the future.”

Oregon Live: You Be The GM: Gerald Wallace
"His most memorable performance for the Blazers was in a physical late-season showdown with the Lakers in which Wallace did a whole lot of everything, scoring 24 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and adding four blocks, earning an "MVP" chant from LaMarcus Aldridge following the win."

Blazersedge: 2010-11 Portland Trail Blazers Roster Rundown: Marcus Camby
"On the other hand Camby's rebounding is still great, his shot blocking is acceptable, and his overall defensive rating stacks up well, especially when compared to fellow Blazers. Half a Camby might be a better defender than half of the players on the roster at full strength. Plus Portland has no other (even half-) proven center options right now. Until Greg Oden proves himself capable of playing 36 minutes a game--which is akin to saying "until Mila Kunis plops down on my lap, tickles a finger under my chin, and says, 'The way you write about the Blazers is so hot, blogger boy'"--Camby is the Blazers' best and only hope at center. You're not likely to get a full year's production out of Chris Johnson and you won't find quality big men on the open market. "

Ball Don't Lie: Behind an unlikely inspiration, the Heat take Game 2
"Chicago missed 10 free throws, and 17 of 20 3-pointers; but the real story of the game was the unexpected return of long-time Heat power forward Udonis Haslem(notes). Following five and a half months on the Miami bench following a foot fracture sustained on Nov. 20, Haslem had played just three and a half minutes of the ugliest basketball you've ever seen in short stints against Boston last week and Chicago on Sunday night. He erupted for 13 points, five rebounds and two assists on Wednesday in a reserve turn in this win that Heat coach Erik Spoelstra called "inspirational."

The Basketball Jones: J.J. Barea is in big head mode
If [J.J. Barea's] head was normal sized, I think he’d only be 5-4. But it’s so large it makes him 5-9.”

ESPN Dallas: Kendrick Perkins: I don't like Chandler
"Me and Tyson never got along. I'm serious," said Perkins, whom the Thunder acquired in a trade deadline deal with the Boston Celtics. "He don't like me, I don't like him and that's pretty much how it's been. Everybody always looks at me as kind of like a dirty player if you're on the opposite team, but he's just as dirty as anybody else."

DIME: Transition Game: 10 Sleepers In The Draft Who Will Excel In The NBA
"While at Texas, Joseph seemed very passive and willing to let others take the reins and run the show. Either he was not ready for that responsibility, or perhaps he wasn’t in a setting where his skills were highlighted. No matter the competition, with the ball in his hands, Joseph can be the best point guard on the court. Joseph is quick and crafty, and can make shots. But he wasn’t able to show that early on in college. That might’ve led to the premature decision to enter the 2011 NBA Draft instead of waiting untill next year when he had a chance to be a lock for the first round."

ESPN: Can Thunder slow down Dirk in Game 2?
"Let's not get carried away. Without seeing a comprehensive list I'm not rushing to put him in the top 30. But he's an MVP. He's unstoppable. He's the best Euro ever. He's a far better shooter than Larry Bird ever was. He's a Hall of Famer. OK, in other words he's in the top 30. Lock."

    ESPN: Daily Dime
"Shooting 34.1 percent from the floor will generally not get it done, especially if you're not dominating the boards like you did in Game 1. Credit the Heat's defense, but Derrick Rose's 7-for-23 line was not MVP-worthy."
