Oregon Live: Blazers: On an off day, a chance to ponder the coming schedule and the possibility of trading for Devin Harris
"Harris' name has come up in reports that say he could end up in Portland as part of a multi-team deal that would send Anthony to the Nets. According to ESPN's Chris Sheridan, two factors are in play: Denver already has a point guard of the future in Ty Lawson, and the Nuggets want Blazers forward Nicolas Batum to replace Anthony. Dallas, according to ESPN's Marc Stein, also is exploring the possibility of bringing back Harris, whom they traded to New Jersey to get Jason Kidd just before the trade deadline in 2008."

Oregon Live: New York 100, Portland 86: Blazers slack on offense, defense; Knicks run rampant
"Get out of the gym," McMillan said, telling his team to stay away from the practice facility today. "I don't want anybody coming in. I think they need to get away."

Rip City Project: Game 39 Recap: Knicks 100, Blazers 86
"Aldridge finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, but he also had six turnovers, with four coming in the second half. Credit Knicks big man Ronny Turiaf, who played out of his gourd. Known as a towel-waiving energy guy, Turiaf has stepped ably into New York's starting lineup in Danilo Gallinari's absence due to injury, and he gave Aldridge fits. Turiaf was only credited with two blocks in the box score, but he altered many more shots and played solid one-on-one defense, forcing Aldridge to work hard for his space and looks."

Blazersedge: Media Row Report: Knicks 100, Blazers 86
"To call the showing sparse would be an understatement. The arena (which can be outfitted to hold 20,000 fans) echoed with every dribble. The upper tier featured a not-at-all-obvious curtain that blocked off the empty seats. Just one-third of Charlotte's dance team showed. And both players and coaches had to be warned to watch their language, as both the television mics and sparse crowd could hear every rude word with ease without the usual lip-reading involved."

Ball Don't Lie: Video: Ref whistles five technicals in 10 seconds on Minnesota
"It's understandable that the NBA is trying to crack down on the sort of insta-reactions players give after a call that doesn't go their way, but nothing both Darko Milicic, Corey Brewer, and Kevin Love does here seems particularly egregious. Ejected Minnesota coach Kurt Rambis has been known to let his emotions get the best of him (he unloaded on rookie Wesley Johnson last week for an honest dribbling mistake late in a loss to Charlotte), so you can see why he might be tossed, but the three that were handed to the players?"

SLAM: Sacramento Kings Renaming Their Arena
"Today, a credible source told Sactown Royalty that the Kings have agreed in principle to a five-year deal with Power Balance LLC to rename the arena the Power Balance Pavilion. This is not a joke, and Joe Maloof was right. Everybody is going to be surprised.”

    DIME: Daily Fantasy Diagnosis: 1.12
"Arron Afflalo had himself a night to the tune of 31 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two threes. He shot 79 percent (11-14) from the field, 100 percent (7-7) from the free-throw line and had no turnovers. This is something of a preview of what will happen to Afflalo’s fantasy value if Carmelo Anthony is dealt away."

ESPN: If Knicks get 'Melo, at what price?
"You have to start with Wilson Chandler, for two reasons: He has established himself as a better trade chip than Danilo Gallinari, and he is due to become a restricted free agent next summer with a price tag that continues to rise with each strong game he plays. If the Nuggets held onto Anthony past the trade deadline and the Knicks then wanted to get far enough under the salary cap next summer to sign Anthony, they'd either have to renounce their rights to Chandler, or trade at least one other player (probably two) to create enough room to give Anthony a max deal and Chandler a fair-market deal."
